It is the most natural thing to feel grossly inadequate as your child's teacher, until we look back and remember; that we taught our children to talk, to walk, to handle their emotions, and fear. We taught them about the world - how to read.
There is so much that school does not and cannot teach children. Why not begin there?
As adults, we are years further along than our children, and there are a myriad of things that we know that they have not yet learned. Have a think. What do you know that they don't, that they might find interesting...
